As early as the 1980s, AVK procts have successfully been exported to China and sold through trade dealers in Hong Kong and later on the China mainland preparing the ground for the developments today.
Recognizing the potential in China as both a source of components and proction AVK decided on an early commitment in China. After initially establishing a sourcing and sales office in Shanghai, AVK in 2002 established AVK Valves (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., a special purpose Import and Export licensed trading company based in Shanghai to better serve the growing market in China. The Company today sell in China both directly to large projects and through distributors in many locations. The company has 40 staffs and 3 sales branches in China, and both staff numbers and branch operation locations are rapidly expanding.
Since the establishment of the Company the successful marketing and sales of particularly our Gas Valve procts here has helped grow the market presence and today AVK has been become the benchmark of high quality Gas Valves.
With the rapid growth in the China market, and the expansion of proction capacity from AVK Anhui AVK has ring the last couple of years, made major resource commitments to expanding both sales capacity and the quality of our organization in the China market to sell the complete range of AVK』s Core procts including very large format valves; and now also its range of high performance Instrial Valves mostly imported from Europe.
We aim to provide the quality of AVK procts whether coming from domestic plants or AVK』s Worldwide overseas plants to the Chinese market. These Valves are sold to all segments in China including not only Water, Sewage, Fire and Gas; but now since 2011, also Instrial and Marine Valve applications.
